Who am I
Hey, thank you for visiting my web-home.
Finally,I flied to Tokyo from Okayama on 29th of March, 2009. Tokyo is just like what I'd imagined. I might write more about the city later.
I came to Okayam in October, 2002 as a dotoral graduate student of Okayama University. After I was awarded the degree in March, 2006, I worked in the university for a half year and went back to China and entered Tongji University in Shanghai. Around the end of 2007, I came back to Japan for the second time and worked on a project in Okayama Unversity first, and then joined my PhD supervisor's consulting firm(E&D Techno Design Inc.) in April 2008 when he retired from Okayama University. I joined the consulting company of Toko Engineering Consultants in Tokyo in April of 2009, and I was allocated to department-II specializing in bridge-design.
I graduated from Tsinghua University (THU) of China, where I majored in Hydraulic and Hydropower Engineering. During the next two years and a half, I entered Zhejiang University (ZJU) as a graduate student in the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering of the College of Civil Engineering and Architecture. My supervisor was Prof. Lizhong Wang, who was engaged in soil dynamics and foundation engineering.
I Enjoy My Life
Life is beautiful! If you always think so, it will be.
I was born in 1977 in Huzhou, a small city of Zhejiang province, P.R.China. Huzhou is located in the north of Zhejiang province, west to Shanghai and northeast to Hangzhou. Huzhou is a typical city of the "Jiang Nan Shui Xiang" style of South China. It is famous in China for its silk and brush pen. I spent 3 years in Huzhou High School, which is among the best 18 high schools of Zhejiang province. I miss the joyful time spending with my classmates and teachers.
Beijing is my second hometown. So far, Beijing is the place where I have stayed the second longest period of my life. Beijing is the capital of China, and the second biggest city. Since having been the capital of such a big country for thousands of years, Beijing has lots of world-famous showplaces, such as the Great Wall, the Imperial Palace and so on. In Tsinghua University, there were plenty of outstanding schoolfellows from all over the whole country, and I felt so lucky to have the chance to study with the geniuses. My class, with the name "Shuigong 41", was really a good family, which consisted of twenty-six guys and two girls from different provinces of China. I leant so much in the five years. It was the most memorable time in my life.
In my opinion, Hangzhou, which is regarded as "Paradise on the Earth", is probably the most beautiful city in China. Hangzhou is one of the important tourism cities in China, famous for its natural beauty and historical and cultural heritages. The West Lake is the heart of this city. Zhejiang University is located very near to the West Lake. The most pleasing thing while staying in ZJU was to walk around the West Lake with friends.
Okayama Prefecture is called "the Land of Sunshine" because of its many days of sunshine, and little rainfall in Japan. Okayama is a small and very clean city. I was deeply impressed by the inconceivable environment when I first stepped onto this land. Korakuen is definitely a pretty garden, which is among the three most beautiful gardens designed as a special scenic beauty in Japan. People here are very kind, which make me feel I was still staying in homeland. I enjoy my life in Japan. |
